About
Hi, Simla here.
Welcome to the Delicious Health blog, where I post deliciously healthy recipes, lifestyle tips, and nutrition pointers on a weekly basis, more or less. More if I’m on a roll, less if I get busy or want to get lost for a few days in non-cyberspace.
As a recovering Type A perfectionist and former management consultant, I’ll probably appeal to you fellow busy bodies out there whose stressful lives are starting to get the best of you. Vague symptoms, fatigue or low energy, that addiction to caffeine and sugar, IBS, creeping weight gain, or maybe you’ve been hit by the big “A(utoimmune)” truck… you know who you are.
I’ve also started sharing my story about developing, living with, and then healing from multiple autoimmune conditions as well as other cranky, outwardly-invisible illnesses that turned my life upside down starting at the ripe old age of 32. Thanks to chronic stress and the aforementioned perfectionist Type A tendencies. If this sounds familiar to you, you may want to come along as well.
In case you’re wondering: I feel superb now. Magnificent. Fabulous. Healthy!!! (I still have “off” days sometimes and I’ll share those with you, too.) Most days, though, I have more energy than I know what to do with! And I want you to get there too, if you live with these types of buggers.
Join me in contributing, commenting, asking. I hope you enjoy it.
